Why Commenting on Social Media Matters
Politicians and political parties must hear your voice

If you’re looking for an easy way to make your voice heard and hold politicians or advocacy groups accountable, start by commenting on their social media posts. Every time they publish something, leave a clear, respectful comment expressing your concerns or dissatisfaction. Do this consistently on every post until the election.
Why does this work?
Social media thrives on visibility. When people see repeated negative feedback on a politician’s posts, it signals public discontent. Other voters notice these comments, and it can influence opinions or even sway votes. It’s not a guaranteed solution, but it’s a simple, accessible way for everyone to contribute.
Important tip:
Don’t waste time arguing with trolls. Focus on addressing the politician or group directly. Keep your comments factual and issue-based.
Remember: politicians and parties answer to you. You are the vote. Social media algorithms amplify engagement, so the more people publicly share their concerns, the harder it is for those in power to ignore them.
Bottom line:
Keep commenting. Be visible. Speak up about your issues and dissatisfaction. It’s your right, and your voice matters.
